MARTIN 16 REVIEW

HOW MANY STARS WOULD YOU GIVE THIS BOAT : *****

My Country is..... Canada

My Experience is.... I have sailed a privately owned a Martin for eight years.

What I like best is..... Its absolutely go any where, and comfortable in any weather with complete peace of mind and safety

What I think could be better is.... Not much, The designer is away ahead of me in this department. I am pleased that the additions to the class like the assymetric and all other changes are designed to be made to my boat with only the purchase of a kit and a simple instal.

If I could give feedback to the manufacturer/provider I would say... A superb job of design, manufacturing quality, at a very fair price.

My extra comments are...... It got me back into sailing after an absence of 12 years due to age and lack of physical mobility. It is absolutely the most comfortable and physically forgiving sailing I have ever experience in my lifetime (40 years). I have sailed it in storms and in zephyrs, in regattas and alone, Overnight trips and short trips with never a concern for safety and comfort. The boat is unusually robust. I have had no equipment failures and my spares kit is a few shackles. The price of the product is very consistent with the quality and support and superior design
